Sustainability Advisory Committee
Since fiscal year 2022, NEC has established the NEC Sustainability Advisory Committee as a platform for seeking advice from external experts on its sustainability management initiatives. By incorporating their insights and recommendations, NEC continuously reviews the direction of the company and improving its efforts to advance sustainability management that contributes to both corporate value and social value.
Beginning in fiscal year ending March 2027, to further deepen discussions and drive the practical implementation of sustainability management, the Committee has been held jointly with the Sustainability Advisory Board of the Institute for International Socio-Economic Studies (IISE), an independent think tank of the NEC Group. Through this joint platform, participants engage in broader discussions from diverse perspectives while considering ongoing changes in technology, industry, and society.
